This Privacy Policy describes how ZackTy LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information in connection with jasonsgrub.com and the related services described in our Terms of Service (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

We collect the following categories of information:
(a) Information you provide directly, including: - Name - Email address - Dietary preferences and restrictions - Allergy and intolerance information - Household information (such as number of household members, ages, and meal preferences of household members) - Location information you submit (such as zip code or city for restaurant lookups) - Any messages, feedback, or other content you submit - Any other information you choose to provide
(b) Information collected automatically, including: - IP address and general geolocation derived from it - Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and screen size - Pages visited, links clicked, time spent, referrer URL, and other usage data - Cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies - Crash logs and diagnostic data
(c) Information from third parties, including: - Authentication and profile data when you sign in via a third-party provider (such as Google) - Information from analytics providers - Information from artificial intelligence model providers used to generate Service content
We do not knowingly collect payment card or financial account information; the Service is free.
We use the information we collect to: (a) provide, operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Service; (b) generate meal plans, restaurant recommendations, and other content, including by sending information to artificial intelligence model providers; (c) communicate with you, including service announcements and responses to inquiries; (d) send marketing and promotional messages (subject to your right to opt out); (e) analyze usage and trends; (f) detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms; (g) comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights; and (h) for any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or with your consent.
We may share information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers. With vendors, contractors, and service providers that perform services on our behalf, including hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support, security, and artificial intelligence model providers (which may include providers such as Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, and others). These providers process information under contractual obligations consistent with this Policy.
Google Services. Portions of the Service rely on Google products (including Google Apps Script, Gmail-based delivery, Google Maps or similar location services, and Google authentication). Information you submit may be transmitted to and stored within Google's systems, subject to Google's own privacy practices.
Artificial Intelligence Providers. To generate meal plans, restaurant suggestions, and other content, we transmit certain inputs (which may include your dietary preferences, allergies, and household information) to third-party AI model providers. These inputs are processed by the provider to generate responses and may be retained or used by the provider in accordance with the provider's terms.
Analytics Providers. We use analytics providers to understand usage. These providers may set cookies or use similar technologies and may receive information described in Section 2(b).
Legal and Safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or other legal process; or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, our users, or others; or to enforce our Terms.
Business Transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
With Your Consent. With your direction or consent.
Aggregate or De-Identified Information. We may share aggregate or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We may share information for purposes that could be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state laws; see Section 8 for how to opt out where applicable.
The Service uses cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for purposes including: keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, measuring traffic and performance, and supporting analytics. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but parts of the Service may not function correctly without them. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before using non-essential cookies.
We collect information that relates to dietary restrictions and food allergies. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity, and this information is not "protected health information" under HIPAA. We nevertheless take reasonable steps to protect this information consistent with the rest of this Policy. You provide this information voluntarily and acknowledge the limitations described in our Terms.
We retain information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Backup, log, and archival copies may persist for additional periods. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our standard practices.
Account Information. You may update or correct account information by contacting us at zacktyllc@gmail.com.
Marketing Communications. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in any such email. Transactional and service-related messages will continue.
Cookies. See Section 5.
State Privacy Rights (U.S.). Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and certain other states), you may have rights to: (a) confirm whether we process your personal information; (b) access a copy of it; (c) request correction of inaccurate information; (d) request deletion; (e) opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or profiling; and (f) appeal a decision regarding your request. To exercise these rights, contact zacktyllc@gmail.com with the words "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your request before fulfilling it and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
International Users. The Service is operated from the United States and intended for U.S. users. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction.
Do Not Track. The Service does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact zacktyllc@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
The Service may contain links to third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their policies before submitting information.
We may update this Policy at any time by posting the revised version on the Service. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
